Is it dead?

Came upon this huge orange iguana at Parque Chankanaab in Cozumel, Mexico.....after a few photographs I began to think perhaps my little reptilian friend was deceased...however upon further inspection (poke poke) he was indeed alive....but simply in a deep sleep.

Unfortunately he would never smile.
